TP is supporting UNICEF on long-term projects such as education programs for children in India and the Philippines, as well as emergency relief globally. Initially, this includes supporting UNICEF’s emergency response in Ukraine and providing relief to those caught up in the aftermath of Typhoon Odette in the Philippines.

Giving back to communities

In the Philippines, many children are getting left behind on receiving proper education. "TP for UNICEF: Building brighter futures in the Philippines” features the positive impact the partnership between TP and UNICEF is having and how it has improved the lives of disadvantaged children through programs focused on early childhood education, disaster resilience, and community development.

Philippines

TP supports UNICEF education programme in the Philippines to ensure children access quality early education.

With TP’s support, around 4,688 people were able to access humanitarian assistance in these facilities, thus helping them to respond to their basic needs.

UNICEF, thanks to the support of TP and other partners, reached 6.4 million people with health supplies, 5.9 million people with safe drinking water and 5.4 million children with malnutrition screening.

TP's contribution enabled UNICEF to support 3,555 people’s access to health services (e.g. vaccination, emergency care…), and more specifically women and children accessing primary healthcare.

In Latin America and in the Caribbean, TP's contribution enabled UNICEF to support around 3,460 people with education opportunities, psychosocial support, primary health care, WASH supplies and services, and critical information.
