Key Skills/Responsibilities:
- Analyze weekly and monthly quality review results to identify error trends within the mortgage origination process
- Conduct robust root cause analysis on the identified error trends to determine process improvements, training needs, or system enhancements to improve the quality of the mortgage origination process
- Heavy involvement in the implementation of root cause solutions to ensure solutions effectively impact error trends
- Champion the implementation of new quality review checks resulting from regulatory changes, system enhancements and process improvements within the mortgage origination process
- Proactively seek and maintain a working knowledge of the most current mortgage origination processes and quality review checks necessary to facilitate and provide resolutions to quality issues
- Provide dedicated analytical & reporting support, focusing on initiatives that will enable improvements to oversight, controls, efficiency, and client satisfaction
- Design, build and monitor executive dashboards and reports required by business stakeholders
- Standardize, automate, provided improvements to and coordinate monthly reporting of IPV results to Trading Desks, Product Control and Finance
- Liaise with internal auditors, external auditors
- Assist the regional Valuation Committee by coordinating reporting, keeping minutes and resolving issues
Qualifications:
- Minimum qualifications Graduate from any stream with hands-on experience on Ms Applications – in particular Ms Excel, Ms Access and Ms PowerPoint
- 1-3 years' of mortgage servicing, finance, MIS, or accounting experience desired
- Customer service, team and goal-oriented, enhanced by a high sense of urgency
- Expert++ level MS Excel (VBA, Macros, Pivots) and MS Access
- 1-4 years' experience working on relational/multi-dimensional database platform with emphasis on database code development
