At TP, supporting local communities means listening, learning, and acting with compassion. In Tunisia, one initiative that reflects this spirit is a long-standing clothing drive that has grown far beyond its original purpose.
First launched in 2011 as a seasonal campaign to provide warm clothing in winter, the initiative is now permanent and active year-round. It supports women affected by violence, single mothers, immigrants, and families who are navigating difficult life situations.
Since early 2025, the clothing drive has taken on a new structure. Donations are now collected and delivered quarterly, allowing for more consistent and reliable support throughout the year. In just the first two quarters of 2025, our teams in Tunisia collected over €31,000 worth of clothing and essentials.
Equally important is the time, together with care, that goes into making these donations possible. Employee volunteers have contributed more than 140 hours sorting, organizing, and preparing items, ensuring that everything is ready to be distributed with dignity and respect.
To maximize its impact, TP in Tunisia collaborates with two local NGOs:
Amal pour la Famille et l’Enfant, which offers shelter and care for single mothers, many of whom are minors or immigrants.
Fondation Agir Contre l’Exclusion (FACE), which supports women survivors of violence and families facing economic hardship.
Through these partnerships, the donations also include toys and books for children, helping create safe and supportive environments for the next generation.
This ongoing effort is proudly supported by TP Women, committed to
advancing women’s empowerment, equality, and dignity across TP. Thanks to the dedication of our employees and the support of local partners, the clothing drive continues to grow in reach and impact. It is a reminder that small actions, when done with care and continuity, can make a meaningful difference.
