Every year on October 5, the world comes together to celebrate World Teachers' Day, dedicated to honoring the educators who shape minds towards a brighter future.
At TP, we continue to champion several education-related programs that empower education. Together with our employees, we take part in life-changing initiatives that strive to create a meaningful change in the lives of thousands of students.
In Morocco, we are bridging the gap between education and employment. Our team members have launched the innovative Centre d'Orientation et de Coaching (COC), a coaching center with over 8,200 students who are eligible to receive the facility's benefits.
In India, TP’s efforts are transforming the educational landscape for over 36,000 students. By setting up learning centers, upgrading school infrastructure, providing nutritious meals, and supporting children with disabilities, we are creating a more inclusive and effective learning environment.
Vidyapeeth School now offers a safer, more sustainable space for over 1,100 students thanks to our volunteers who helped construct and renovate classrooms, dining halls, and restrooms, as well as install solar energy systems. The addition of modern safety equipment has further enhanced the school's ability to provide a quality education.
Another crucial initiative has been our partnership to provide midday meals to children in government schools.
Our work in Senegal is focused on fostering inclusivity. Our team has organized engaging and supportive workshops for 176 children with disabilities and has provided funding to ensure 10 children with autism have access to the education they deserve. These efforts present opportunities for a better future for some of the community's most vulnerable members.
In Peru, the spirit of volunteerism is alive and well with our teams supporting over 8,800 students. Through school supply drives, classroom improvements, and sustainable donation programs, we are helping to create equitable and inspiring learning spaces for all.
On World Teachers' Day, we celebrate the educators who dedicate their lives to nurturing future generations. We are grateful and honor the collective action that makes their work possible. The initiatives led by TP and our employees are a powerful reminder that by investing in education and valuing the voices of our teachers, we are building a better and fairer world for everyone.
