Every year, World Environment Day reminds us of the urgent responsibility we all share to protect and nurture the planet we call home.
We’ve taken meaningful steps to build a more sustainable future, one initiative at a time. Together with our employees, TP continues to make a difference in creating a better and greener world today and for generations to come. Here are a few highlights from around the world:
A cleaner future in Greece
On March 16, 2025, our teams in Thessaloniki, Greece collaborated with local fishermen and the volunteer group Save Your Hood to make a positive impact on Axios Delta National Park. Together, the teams restored the natural beauty of the park, with their efforts going beyond simply cleaning up waste. The initiative truly united communities and raised awareness in preserving the environment.
This partnership is TP’s testament to the power of community, environmental sustainability, as well as our purpose meeting our employees’ dedication resulting in extraordinary outcomes and a greener future.
Empowering change through education in Colombia
What started as a simple idea has now transformed into a nationwide movement. TP partnered with the Recuperatu Silla Foundation in Colombia to recycle plastic, positively impacting the lives of vulnerable children living in impoverished areas.
Together with our volunteers, TP collected 55 tons of plastic, transforming 30 tons into more than 1,500 school desks benefitting nearly 14,000 children across La Guajira and Caquetá.
Beyond recycling, this initiative restores dignity and provides hope through access to education.
Thinking outside the box in the United States
With 60% of our U.S. teams working from home, finding ways to volunteer effectively required creativity and innovation to ensure that both work at home and work in office teammates were included. Partnering with our L&D team, the TP CSR teams in the US introduced virtual games designed to raise awareness about climate change and sustainable practices for those working from home. Those on site came together to clean up beaches, plant trees, and more.
This unique approach engaged team members and also generated a staggering 461.6 volunteer hours in 2024.
Forest restoration in Tunisia
TP demonstrated its commitment to biodiversity and climate action in Tunisia last November by partnering with the Tounes CleanUP association. Under the supervision of the Regional Agricultural Development Commission, 70 dedicated employees planted 6,000 trees to restore a forest devastated by fires, with the help of civil society volunteers.
This reforestation effort strengthens our ecosystem and solidifies TP’s vision of a sustainable, collaborative future.
