TP for UNICEF: Supporting Early Childhood Education in the Philippines

TP - 10.04.2024

Celebrating two years of partnership with UNICEF, TP continues championing early childhood education in the Philippines. Our efforts to support UNICEF, aimed at empowering education for young children, are transforming lives in communities nationwide and paving the way for a brighter future.

At the Forefront of Education for All

In the Philippines, issues surrounding the number of children enrolled in school, the quality of education provided, and the state of their learning environments remain concerning. Access to quality early childhood education in the Philippines has become even more challenging, especially for the most disadvantaged communities, in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. Through our partnership with UNICEF, TP has helped to empower young minds, strengthen their support systems, and ensure education for every child.

Strengthening Support Systems and Building Capacity for Every Child

With our support, UNICEF has invested in building the capacity of local child development workers, kindergarten teachers, and parents/caregivers to ensure that every child receives quality education. By supporting the early identification system, we help detect developmental delays and disabilities, ensuring children receive the support they need. Our support has enabled 14,820 children aged 3 to 4 to benefit from trained Child Development Workers who provide essential care and quality education.

Making Lasting Impact for Communities Worldwide

As we look to the future, we remain committed to investing in education and supporting initiatives that create lasting positive effects on communities worldwide. We envision a future where every child has the foundation to learn, grow, and thrive.
